Biographical / Historical

Dedicated to the memory of Nobel Peace Prize winner (1931) Jane Addams, the Jane Addams Peace School was sponsored by prominent educators and peace leaders and endorsed by leading peace organizations. Courses were taught by A.J. Muste, Merle Curti, Lewis Corey, Robert LaRene, George Hartmann, and Eleanor Eaton, among others. The school was located at 242 East 14th Street in New York City.
