Biographical / Historical
Keystone Alliance; began ca. 1977; headquartered in Philadelphia; Pennsylvania grassroots nonprofit organization which worked against construction and continued operation of nuclear reactors; to promote the use of renewable, safe energy; and to promote energy conservation, efficiency and recycling. Keystone Alliance was a leader in protesting the nuclear power plants at Limerick and Three Mile Island, Pennsylvania.
