LEAD USA; formed in 1987 under the name Center for Common Security, by Dominic Careri Kulik and David Yaskulka; headquartered in Williamstown, Massachusetts; changed name ca. 1991 to LEAD USA; mission was to train the next generation of leaders to find creative solutions to global problems and to be a catalyst for U.S. higher education's role in improving global security.
