John MacDougall; B.A. Oxford University, Ph. D. in sociology, Harvard University; Professor of Regional Economic and Social Development, University of Massachusetts Lowell; Co-Director of the Peace and Conflict Studies Institute at the University of Massachusetts Lowell; has written about peace, environmental and ethnic movements, on the sociology of war and peace.
