Biographical / Historical
The National Action Group was a peace movement resource with no staff, no regular meetings, and no membership. It began in Philadelphia after the 1968 Democratic National Convention. The group planned major actions in dozens of cities across the U.S. in opposition to the Vietnamese Conflict. Its major effort was called April Action.
