Biographical / Historical
Nicaragua Network ; founded as the National Network in Solidarity with the Nicaraguan People in 1979; an umbrella organization made up of local and national committees, task forces, and groups throughout the United States; purpose: to increase understanding between the peoples of the United States and Nicaragua by providing financial and material aid for Nicaragua, educational speaking tours throughout the U.S., and special work brigades.
