Peninsula Peace and Justice Center; founded in Palo Alto, California in the 1950s by Roy Kepler, of Kepler's Book Store; purpose was to prevent war by working for a just peace, educating in nonviolence, supporting enforceable disarmament; changed name to Peninsula Peace and Justice Center in 1992.
