Biographical / Historical
Carl Soule, a Methodist minister, served on the staff of the Board of World Peace of the United Methodist Church from 1945 to 1960, and as United Nations representative from his denomination's Board of Christian Social Concerns, from 1960 to 1972. Later, Soule was liaison to the Christian Peace Conference for Christians Associated for Relationships with Eastern Europe, formed in 1972.
