This project, under the direction of Buckminster Fuller (World Fellow in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania at that time) was comprised of four components: world forums of leading scholars debating issues related to human aggression and global conflict; the War or Peace Theme Gallery at the University Museum; education through interdisciplinary courses and film festivals, workshops, etc.; and a television/film presentation of Fuller's film on the theme that peace through technology is possible. It was part of a three-year program which the University of Pennsylvania sponsored as part of the Philadelphia Bicentennial celebration.
