Known by the acronym WOMAN, this organization was chaired by the author-lecturer Dorothy Thompson who wrote "A Woman's Manifesto." WOMAN began in 1951 as an international association of mothers from United Nations member countries. Headquarters were in New York City. The organization appears to have closed in 1952.
