Biographical / Historical

William Edward Arnold-Forster (1886-1951) was a British artist, landscape painter, and pastellier. He was involved in many peace organizations and he served as the technical adviser and official representative to the 1932 Disarmament Conference in Geneva. His conference reports were widely distributed in Britain and the United States. During 1932-1933, Arnold-Forster lectured on disarmament throughout Britain and the United States. He also contributed to many publications and wrote several pamphlets about nationalist preoccupations, disarmament, and peace.
