Scope and Contents This small collection contains primarily correspondence between Elizabeth Hunt Stoddard-Sennott and the Girls Scouts organization concerning her planned marriage to a concientious objector during World War II. It offers insight into contemporary views towards pacifism in wartime and the influences on women's employment. Also included are copies of two papers written as a student at Antioch College.
