Abstract
Peace Action, Inc. was founded about 1979 as the Disarmament Action Network (DAN). The name of the organization was changed name to Peace Action, Inc. about 1985. The group was begun informally by members of the American Friends Service Committee's Cambridge. Massachusetts office and was affiliated with the Walk for Peace, the Human Race/Runners Around the World, and Give Peace a Dance.
