Henry Carter autobiography
Henry Carter's autobiography describes his childhood with his brother and widowed mother, but mostly focuses on his adult life as a sailor. Also included is a brief history of the genealogy of Carter's father's side of the family.
Mary G. Cary and John R. Cary papers
This collection includes letters, documents, and photographs of 18th, 19th, and early 20th century family members mostly of the Quaker Cary, Cope, Elkinton, Gilpin, Newlin, Stokes, and Waln families.
Comfort family papers
This collection contains a typed genealogy of the Comfort family, compiled by Anne H. Cresson in 1902, largely based on a family tree prepared by John S. Comfort. It also includes some short biographical sketches of the families, as well as typed notes from Cresson's work.

This collection is comprised of a single Bible from 1599, which has genealogical notes handwritten within the text. It also includes a set of transcribed notes, which lists where each note is, and a transcription as possible for the genealogy.

Gilbert Cope (1840-1928) was a historian, genealogist, and photographer. He was born and raised in West Chester, Pa. and was a Quaker who spent his life researching, recording and photographing life in Chester County.This collection is comprised of the typed diary transcript of entries dated 1869, as well as the Genealogy of Kirk-Price and Cox-Garrett ancestors, and miscellaneous notes pertaining to the Gilbert Cope foundation of genealogy and historical research.
