Overview Pearl Stribling, born Elizabeth Pearl Stribling was born July 28, 1883 in Iowa. Stribling was the daughter of Rev. John W. and Emeline Horton Stribling and was a lifelong Friend. Pearl lived most of her life in Earlham, Iowa. Pearl became bedridden in 1901 at the age of 18 but maintaned a large circles of friends, many of them Friends.
