This undated volume lists the names of 234 individuals to whom it attributes ownership of 692 3/5 shares of stock purchased at $100 per share in the Haverford School Association.

Historical Note
Addresses were included for most of the living stockholders in this volume and a note on the first page indicates that these were used to notify stockholders about the annual meeting. The 1831-1878 Capital Stock ledger (Volume 3) lists 16 donors to an Improvement Fund in 1857-1858, 10 of whom purchased five shares (donated $500) on June 4, 1858. The names of all these individuals are listed in this volume. The Capital Stock ledger lists another fund-raising effort in the mid-1860s, with nine of the thirteen participants purchasing one share for $100 on May 8, 1865. None of the names of these thirteen individuals appear in this document, suggesting it was prepared sometime between 1858 and 1865.
