Financial ephemera, 1815
File — Box: 5
Scope and Contents
This file contains bills, receipts, and other financial ephemera belonging to Samuel B. Morris. Most of the receipts reflect payments to Samuel Relf for advertising the arrival of ships, such as the Sloop Lively, Brig Mary, and Schooner General Jackson, as well as goods for sale, such as brandy and Goshen cheese. The advertisements were likely placed in Relf's Philadelphia Gazette & Daily Advertiser.
