This file contains financial documents pertaining to the construction of Samuel B. Morris's stores on Market Street and 4th Street in Philadelphia. Most of the the documents are bills for construction and carpentry work, but there is also a release of liens for the five, five-story buildings Morris was constructing. Many of the accounts are with Thomas Estlack who paid for construction work on Morris's behalf. There are also rental agreements with the tenants who would occupy the stores.
