Scope and Contents
This account book tracks receipts and expenses for the months of December, 1853 to January, 1859. The receipts during this period are primarily board and tuition. There are also receipts for stationery, rental income, and farm products sold. Expenses include salaries and wages, school house and grounds, provisions, farm stock and implements, incidentals, stationery and clothing, furniture, fuel and light, library and apparatus, and farm.
