Scope and Contents
This journal records the receipts and expenses of Haverford College from September 1, 1939 to August 31, 1952. Most entries in the volume reflect the state of consolidated and non-consolidated investments on the last day of the fiscal year, August 31. There are also aggregated entries for salaries, scholarship and prize funds, donations, rentals and other revenues and expenses. J. Henry Scattergood is identified as the Treasurer of the Corporation at the front of the volume.
