Scope and Contents
This petty cash and receipt book for June 1894 to August 1902 records receipts and revenues on the left-hand page and expenses on the right-hand page. The most common receipt entries are for board and tuition, stationery, and farm revenues. Individual expense categories include salaries and wages, provisions, incidentals, stationery, farm, laboratories, lawn, fuel and lights, and "New Shop." However, most expense entries are aggregate expenses paid to Treasurer Asa S. Wing.
