Endowment funds ledger no. 2, 1922-1939
Scope and Contents
This volume, entitled "Investments No. 2, The Corporation of Haverford College," includes descriptions of endowment funds number 23 (Isaac Sharpless Memorial Fund) through number 201 (Perpetual Insurance) for the years 1922 to 1939. The various endowed funds were invested in four asset categories, each described on an individual sheet: bonds, mortgages, rental real estate, and common/preferred stocks. Not every fund was invested in all four assets. In particular, the smaller endowed funds might be invested in a single asset class, or even a single security.
