Scope and Contents
The first page in this volume is labeled "List of the Stockholders of Haverford School Association, Philadelphia, No. 109 North Tenth Street," with "4th Month 16, 1861" taped over what may have been an earlier date. It is likely that this list was begun in 1856 or earlier when the institution was still a school. The entries in this volume consist of three columns listing the stock ownership of "Members," "Non Friends," and "Deceased."
