Scope and Contents

Includes a 2009 archaeological study done by Historical Perspectives, Inc. for a proposed development at 136-33 37th Ave. that would abut the property line of Flushing Friends Burial Ground. Also includes the Archaeological Testing Agreement signed by Flushing.

During construction, there was trespassing and desecration to the burial ground by the developer project, and as part of a settlement an additional archeaological study was done in 2012 to investigate and document damage. A partial radar survey was done of the burial ground and a CD of surface headstones is included.
