"Diary No. 3, 1851". ("Anna Hinchman was the daughter of John and Eliza Webb Hinchman, probably sister-in-law to Wm. J. Allinson (1810-1874) who married Rebecca Hinchman (also daughter of Eliza?). The "dear Carrie" referred to in the diary is probably cousin Caroline Allinson, daughter of Samuel Jr. who lived at Locust Hill (see p. 110 in 'Burlington Books'" -- copied from envelope; see also: Hinshaw, vol. 2, p. 292: Hinchman, Charles S. and Lydia S. Received on certificate from Philadelphia Monthly Meeting for the Western District at Burlington in 1879 with their children, including Anna Hinchman)
