(5 coins) A coin issued in 1932 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of William Penn’s arrival in America. Front of coin depicts Penn and the words “1682 / Arrival of William Penn in America / 1932,” “AE.TIS.22” and “1666.” Back of coin depicts Penn shaking hands with an Indian in a circle of seated Indians. 2 of 5 coins have one side covered in blue paper, which appears to be glued on.

A medal issued in 1969 by Continental Bank and Philadelphia Convention and Tourist Bureau to commemorate William Penn’s 325th birthday. Sealed with plastic in original mat. Front of coin depicts Penn’s portrait and name and the words “Founder of Philadelphia / 1644-1969.” Back of coin depicts a rolled parchment grasped by a Quaker and an Indian and the words “Penn’s Treaty with the Indians / United as One Strength.”
