Abstract Elizabeth Anna Harlan graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1909 with a major in English. After graduation, she acted as the president of the Visiting Nurses Association of Coatesville. She served 25 years as a board member of Coatesville Hospital. She was also highly involved with the Coatesville Presbyterian Church throughout her life. She had one adopted daughter.
