Scope and Contents
This volume consists of photographs of the government, borough halls, and schools. Pictures depict buildings and homes in the borough, elementary and high school class pictures, high school sports teams and clubs, and government officials. Photographs are mostly black and white, but includes color pictures. Items of special interest include photographs of the Swarthmore Borough fire on March 15, 1950, the groundbreaking of the new Borough Hall, and aerial views of the Swarthmore Prep and Grammar schools.
