Scope and Contents Sarah (1877-1973) was the eldest child of William and Emma Bancroft. In 1900, under the care of Wilmington Monthly Meeting, she married Roger Clark, president of the Clark shoe manufacturing company, and they lived in Somerset, England. The letters largely concern finances related to the Woodlawn Trustees and the Trust's property purchases, development and philanthropic efforts.
