Biographical / Historical
New Garden Monthly Meeting, composed of New Garden and Sandy Spring Preparative Meetings, was established by Salem Quarterly Meeting in 1808. It was split in the separations of 1828 and 1854, and although the Hicksite branch was laid down in 1850, it continued operating as a Congregational meeting until 1866.
