Biographical / Historical
Sandy Spring Monthly Meeting was established in 1820. It sided with the Orthodox in 1828, and split in 1854. The Wilburite branch was laid down in 1873. The Gurneyite branch changed its name to Augusta in 1914 until it was laid down in 1921.
