Biographical / Historical
In 1854, the Orthodox branch split into Wilburite and Gurneyite sections. Members of nine particular Wilburite meetings further separated in 1862-63 and formed the Ohio General Meeting of Men and Women Friends, known as Maulite after the first men’s clerk. It was laid down in 1877.
