Midwest Committee for Military Counseling Records
The Midwest Committee for Military Counseling was founded in 1976. The MCMC provided counseling, training sessions and public education. Staff worked with counselors, attorneys, community groups and religious bodies on behalf of potential recruits to the military and people on active military duty. The MCMC ceased operation in 1995 or 1996.
Mifflin-Rasin-Jenkins family papers
This collection includes legal documents and genealogical information on the Mifflin, Rasin and Jenkins families. Included are marriage records of Warner Mifflin and a will of Abraham Rasin and deeds of Elizabeth Jenkins. Also included is an account of a conversation between Warner Mifflin, an abolitionist, and an enslaved person he was about to emancipate.
