Charles Fremont Taylor's manuscript, entitled "Civilization's Next Step, Columbia, America's Goddess of Liberty, Appeals to the Nations," discusses European politics and potential solutions for peaceful international political interaction. This copy was produced for Haverford College president Isaac Sharpless.

Charles Shoemaker Taylor letterbook
This collection is comprised of the single volume letterbook of Charles Shoemaker Taylor, which contains business correspondence related to the buying and selling of goods, livestock, and land. Taylor was educated at Haverford College, was a member of the original board of trustees for Bryn Mawr College until 1893, and was the vice president of the Haverford College Alumni Association.

Taylor Family papers
This collection traces several generations of the Quaker Taylor family, but centers on Francis R. Taylor (1884-1947) and George Washington Taylor (1803-1891). The former was an attorney and collector of information about his own and related families, as well as local historical information. The latter, who ran a free produce store in Philadelphia in the period before the American Civil War, was connected through his interests in free labor to many correspondents.

There are also many photographs in the collection, including carte de vistas and other nineteenth century photographic techniques. Other related families within the collection include the Savery, Scattergood, Richie, Hooton, and Roberts families.

Papers realted to the 19th-century Quaker Shoemaker and Taylor families of Burlington, NJ and Philadelphia and their westward movement to begin a business in Ohio. They deal also with such varied topics as surveying, sheep raising, the Contraband Relief Commission, the establishment of Bryn Mawr College and the mental hospital Friends' Asylum. Prominent correspondents are Abraham Merritt Taylor, Joseph Wright Taylor, Isaac Shoemaker, Charles Shoemaker and Thomas Wistar Jr.
