Biographical / Historical
A preparative meeting known as "Robins" was established by 1800. In 1804, its name was changed to "East Branch". In 1827, after the Hicksite Separation in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, the meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. East Branch Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) was discontinued in 1833. Its members were attached to Chesterfield Preparative Meeting (Orthodox)
