Historical note
The North House quaker center was established in October of 1907, as an outgrowth of the religious and social work done by the Sixth and Noble Streets Association. The organization aimed to "improve neighborhood conditions, moral and physical. . . and above all, to develop that Christian character in our boys and girls that is the hope of the next generation."
