Biographical / Historical
Poughquague Preparative Meeting was established in 1773 by Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting under Oblong Monthly Meeting. After the 1828 Separation Poughquague was affiliated with with the Hicksite branch. It continued until it was laid down in 1874, the members being attached to Oblong Preparative Meeting.
