Biographical / Historical

A meeting for worship for Friends in the Falls area was established around 1680. In 1683, the meeting became part of Falls Monthly Meeting. Falls Preparative Meeting was established around 1720. At the time of the Hicksite Separation of 1827, two preparative meetings were formed. The Hicksite preparative meeting was discontinued in 1890. The Orthodox preparative meeting was discontinued in 1907
