Biographical / Historical

An indulged meeting was established at Spruce Street by Philadelphia Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) in 1832; in 1833, the meeting for worship and a preparative meeting were established as part of Spruce Street Monthly Meeting by Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting (Hicksite). The preparative meeting was discontinued in 1894; the meeting for worship was discontinued in 1902.
