Historical

Established in 1985 by Paul J. Aicher, ACCESS was a nonprofit, non-partisan information service on international security and peace. ACCESS provided information on current international events and guides through a telephone referral service, regular publication series, ACCESS Resource Brief, and reference books on international affairs. Concerned citizens and experts provided sources of information on issues such as US and foreign military policy, arms control, and regional conflicts. The executive director of ACCESS was Mary E. Lord.
