Abstract
This collection, assembled by A. Thomas Hallowell, contains the photocopy of a letter from Benjamin Hallowell to his son, Henry Clay, a typescript copy of the childhood reminiscences of Henry C. Hallowell, and also a typescript copy of childhood memories of Mary H. Stabler.

Biographical / Historical
A. Thomas Hallowell was born in 1915, the son of Francis and Helen Thomas Hallowell. In 1952, he married Barbara Gawthrope. His grandfather, Henry C. Hallowell, was the son of Benjamin Hallowell and was born in 1829. Mary S. Hallowell, the daughter of Henry C., was born in 1867, and married Newton Stabler in 1898.
