Thomas P. Nichols correspondence
This collection is comprised of the photocopies of 11 letters addressed to Thomas P. Nichols in the 1830s and 1840s concerning the Wilburite separation in the Quaker community in Rhode Island and New York.

This collection is comprised of the papers of Herbert Nicholson. It includes sections of a manuscript, letters to Herbert Nicholson from individuals he met in Japan, photographs of Herbert Nicholson and others, and Nicholson's research notes related to Japanese internment.
William Nisbet papers
The bulk of this collection consists of about 60 letters written by William Nisbet to his mother and sister during his travels abroad in the 1860s. William F. Nisbet was a retired businessman and travelor from a wealthy New York family. In 1865, at the age of 30, he retired in order to travel. In 1858, he traveled to South America, and from 1865 to 1868, he traveled around the globe. During his travels, he wrote letters and sent artifacts and artwork back home to his family in New York.
