Handwritten manuscript oration by Richard Henry Holme, Haverford College Class of 1876, entitled "Christianity as a Factor in Civilization."
Homeliae decem super extremam partem ezechielis, 1000 - 1050
This manuscript is from the first half of the eleventh century from Tournai, which contains the texts of Gregory the Great's Ten Homilies on Ezekiel, Radbod II's Sermo de nativitate Mariae Virginis, and selected brief moral maxims and exhortations. The manuscript has belonged to the collections of the Marquess of Blandford at White Knights, Henry Drury, and Sir Thomas Phillipps, among others.
Homeliae in johannis evangelium, 1462
This manuscript contains John Chrysostom's Homeliae in johannis evangelium, translated by Francesco Griffolini of Arezzo. The scribe is identified in the colophon as Lambert Leynen, who copied the manuscript in Rome in 1462. The manuscript belonged to the library of the Carthusian Charterhouse of Saint Barbara in Cologne and previous owners include Leander van Ess, Sir Thomas Phillipps, and John Meade Falkner.

Table of contents: Augustine, Liber de fide ad Petrum; One or possibly two fragments (16 lines) attributed to Bruno Sigiensis. Fragments exhort the reader to bear contumely and injury in silence and not to answer accusations in order to please God.
