Stanton relating to the American Anti-Slavery Society, from Thomas Garrett concerning arrangements for transportation and placement of emancipated and self-emancipated people, and from William Still about a visit and lecture by William Wells Brown.

Eugene Vickers Civil War correspondence

Abstract This small collection of Civil War correspondence consists of letters of a Hicksite Quaker family of West Chester, Pennsylvania, received by Eugene Vickers while he was serving with Company C of the 97th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers in the coastal South.
