Charles Thomas Hancock, II, was a Quaker historian and activist. He served as a CO in World War II and was a member of Scarsdale Monthly Meeting and later Mount Toby Monthly Meeting. Cornelia Hancock (1840-1927) was a Civil War nurse, Reconstruction-era teacher in South Carolina, and, later, Philadelphia social worker. Elizabeth Anna Harlan graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1909 with a major in English. After graduation, she acted as the president of the Visiting Nurses Association of Coatesville. She served 25 years as a board member of Coatesville Hospital. She was also highly involved with the Coatesville Presbyterian Church throughout her life. She had one adopted daughter.
