Walter Koch correspondence

This collection is comprised of the typed correspondence of Walter Koch, and is written in both German and English. Koch generally corresponds with Friends in the United States about their financial "gift," toward his efforts to teach Quaker texts in German schools, and his promotion of the pacifist movement in Germany.

Elsie Kohn Rauh scrapbook

Abstract Elsie Kohn was born November 25, 1881. She attended Bryn Mawr College, graduating in 1904. She married Aaron S. Rauh in 1908 and had three children. Kohn was a civic leader who was extremely involved in the women’s suffrage movement. She was one of the founders of the League of Women Voters and was also active in Planned Parenthood. Alice Knepper Kuppinger graduated from Bryn Mawr in 1936 from the School of Social Work. She was involved in the American Red Cross, and traveled widely with her husband as part of his job in the Foreign Service. This collection runs from circa 1930s-1960s, and contains a variety of materials related to the American Red Cross and the Foreign Service.
