James Wood papers
“From World War One to the Bicentennial: An Autobiography”
This autobiography describes Morris Wistar Wood's early life, his education, his travels in the United States and abroad, his time spent teaching and in academic administration at various schools, including at a school in Lingnan, at the Culver Military Academy, the University of Pennsylvania, Westtown School, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Wood also describes his family life with his wife Evelyn, and their children.

Copy of most of Juzʼ 8 of the Qurʼān. The text begins with the last two words of verse 112 of al-Anʻām, and ends with the penultimate word of verse 78 of al-Aʻrāf.

Nearly complete copy of the Qurʼān. The first two folios are missing, so the text begins with verse 17 of al-Baqarah and one folio is missing from the end, so the last complete sūrah is al-Māʻūn.

Copy of the Psalms with 9 other prayers at the end. Leaves are missing at the beginning; the first complete Psalm is number 4.

Lacunose copy of the prayer book. It is missing several leaves at the beginning. One loose bifolium of noncontiguous leaves, probably from the quire missing at the beginning, is laid in at the front. A few marginal notes, one in Persian.
