Mildred Pressinger (Kienbusch) scrapbook

Abstract Mildred Pressinger (later Kienbusch) graduated from Bryn Mawr College with an A.B. in Philosophy and Psychology. She was a member of the Mayflower Descendants, the National Society of Colonial Dames, Founder and Patriots, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also active in a number of charities in New York City. She married Carl Otto von Kienbusch, the owner of an internationally celebrated collection of medieval arms and armor. Queen's Dolls' House Correspondence

Abstract The Queen's Dolls' House was created between 1921 and 1924 as a gift from the British people to their monarch. The project was organized by Princess Marie Louise, a cousin of the king, who solicited artists, authors,and craftsmen for donations for the various rooms and furnishings. Sadie Bell research notes

Abstract

Sadie Bell was a member of the class of 1912. She earned her A.B. in 1912 and her M.A. in 1913. In 1929, she received a Ph.D. in education from the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to teach high school and junior high classes in Welch, West Virginia. The Sadie Bell research notes houses Bell's 1930 Ph.D. dissertation, entitled The Church, the State, and Education in Virginia.

Henry Nevill Sanders papers

Abstract Henry Neville Sanders (1869-1943) studied at Edinburgh University, Gottingen, and the University of Toronto prior to joining joined the faculty of Bryn Mawr College in 1902. Sanders remained at Bryn Mawr until his retirement in 1935. Angela Darkow (AB – 1911; MA – 1912; PhD – 1919) studied Greek and Latin at Bryn Mawr College. Abstract Sylvia Scudder (later Bowditch) was born in 1875. She was prepared by the Cambridge School for Girls in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She matriculated with the Bryn Mawr class of 1899, but received her degrees—in Greek and French—in 1901. From 1901-1902, she did graduate work in Greek at Radcliffe College.
